I went to the pet …
I went to the pet shop the other day and a boston terrier bit me on the chin. A tip one of the workers gave me was to push down under the tongue. It worked like a charm. Luckily for me…no scar, but the bite did draw a little blood!

Actually, punishment doesn’t solve problems. Just use a mild correction and say “no!” firmly but not fiercely. It would make the dog frightened! Bitter apple spray is the worst way to solve this. Just yelp loudly! He would most likely let go. Yanking him off would make him bite harder.

Well I hope you feel better after the bite. Actually, you can teach them not to bite by clenching a treat in your fist then letting your dog sniff it. When he bites, clench harder. (You may want to wear gloves) Amazingly, he will soften his/her bite. Praise it if he does. If not, well too bad.

If I’m not wrong, dogs CAN only learn 1 trick a week. Teaching more than that is like teaching an elementary class student fractions and decimals at the same time. Not to boast, but I’m a dog expert who gives out advice.

I agree. We just got a puppy 3 days ago. She’s 8 weeks old. Apparently you start training 7-8 weeks? I’m trying sit techniques with treats and it’s near impossible, their attention is EVERYWHERE. I swear the puppys in these videos are pre-trained to make it look good lol

my dad used to lay on the sofa and my dog would lay on the floor next to him and my dad would just dangle his arm and my dog would rollover on her back and twist her head around and play-bite…its so funny to watch and she has only bitten about 10 times in 16 years…
