You can start at any time but i think you should start with basic training like house breaking and sit. Once it gets that down start moving on to more complicated tricks.
References :
You should start training it to go down and sit straight away because as it gets older it will be harder to train.
To go down: What i did! They need to be able to sit before they do this.

Well you get a treat that your dog likes and tell it to sit. You get the treat and put it next to its nose and slowly move it towords the ground. The dogs face should be following the treat which causes it to go down. Say down and then give it the treat!
I HOPE THIS HELPED!

Pups start learned the moment they are born. Keep the sessions short (no more than 5 mins), fun and no more than 4 times a day.
References :
You can start right now! : )

Keep training very very short and always positive. For instance use a treat held very close over the pups nose and bring it over it's head - if you do it just right the pup will sit. Say "sit" - "Good!" and give the treat.

: )

Biggest thing is to decide what kind of rules you will want your pup to follow when he/she gets big and start now. Be consistent. It's the only way! For instance, if you don't want your dog to go on you furniture, to jump up on people, or to bite tell him/her NOW while he/she is little right away and always be consistent.

Teach your pup to respect you right away and be the pack leader. Give that pup someone to follow.

Good luck!
References :
You need to start training him NOW. He needs to learn you are the alpha leader of the pack. Forget the stupid dog tricks, he needs to be obedient and respectful first. You don't get that done when they are young, everything else is impossible, he turns into an ill-mannered, nuisance dog barking 24/7 because he doesn't know what else to do with aggressive, dominance tendancies and he'll end up killing some kid. Too many bad dog owners in this world who get dogs and don't know what to do with them making all dog owners look bad.
References :
I'd say once the dog is fully weaned....
So if your dog is off the milk then now. Start house breaking too.
References :
they learn very early and need repetition and consistency. It took 3 weeks to housetrain my puppy-she's 4 months old now and is now learning tricks-fetch, sit, lay, heel. She would come when her name was called after only 3 days when she was 12 weeks old--when we adopted her (because I rewarded her in the beginning).
References :
I've seen a video of a 5 week old pup learning "sit" and "down." I'm sure you could start with those basics right away.

Check out these training articles for puppies, you'll find some great information.
